#WFH

#WFH. Unless you’ve been living digital free during this pandemic, it means working from home or work from home. It’s the popular tagline that fashion influencers and retail stores have been using to promote the new normal - sweatpants, sweatshirts or what I like to call "cozy clothes". With so many folks clocking in from their at-home computers, getting dressed up for work has become a thing of the past. Why put on “real” clothes when you can lounge in your pajamas or your comfiest leggings? You have nowhere to go anyway, right?

Because of this WFH mentality, online retailers and fashion influencers are showcasing trendy loungewear, cute sneakers and no-fuss looks. What did you wear to your last Zoom meeting?

As the saying goes, “all good things must come to an end”. Now, I wouldn’t go as far as claiming that staying at home has been super duper, but I’ve adjusted to a different daily routine. It’s going to change though. I’m not sure when or how, but it will. One day, we'll be back in our work appropriate clothing. We’ll say goodbye to our house slippers and hello to our heels. WFH will be a memory. Until then, I’ll be here sipping my coffee, shopping online and wrangling kids in my “cozy clothes”!
