Wedges + Flatforms

The sun is shining, the temperatures dropping, and wedges are calling my name! Whether you’re dressing up or dressing down, wedges and flatforms are the perfect way to elevate your spring wardrobe. Plus, they tend to be more comfortable than a higher stiletto heel.

In the 1940s, wedges took the place of pumps worldwide due to leather rations and heel height restrictions. now, wedges and flatforms are simply a staple in modern fashion! While the term wedge is more typically used to describe sandal-like shoes, both types of shoe include a thick sole extending from toe to heel.

I don’t know about you, but my current obsession is the open-toe Castaner wedges! Pair them with your favorite wide leg jeans or a pretty floral dress. On the other hand, my daughter can’t get enough of the Steve Madden platforms; her greatest struggle is the choice between a black or white pair!
